Most yoga and pilates studios have no front desk. The teacher opens the room, rolls out a mat and greets people as they come in, and somewhere in that minute someone has to know whether this person's pass is still good.
What makes it hard
- No one at a desk. A laptop on a shelf or a notebook by the door is one more thing to look after while teaching.
- Many kinds of pass. A drop-in class, a pack of ten, an unlimited month, a trial week.
- Regulars who drift away. In a small studio every member who stops coming is felt, and usually noticed too late.
How Abonatus handles it
- Check-in on the teacher's phone. Scan the member's QR code before class and see a green or red screen with their name and photo. Someone forgot their phone? Find them by name.
- Any pass you sell. A single class, 10 classes in 60 days, an unlimited month, a trial week. Class packs lose one class at the door, never two on the same day.
- Someone new at the door: add them in a few seconds and sell them a single class on the spot.
- Freezes and corrections for travel or a pregnancy, with every change kept in the pass's history.
- Who to get back in touch with. The member list picks out those whose pass ends this week, those who didn't renew and those who paid but haven't come for two weeks. Members who sign in with their email get a reminder three days before their pass ends.
- Your week in numbers: visits by day, the busiest hours, what sold and what came in.
What it doesn't do yet
Class schedules and booking a mat are not in Abonatus yet. Today it handles passes, payments and the door. If booking is what you need first, tell us: it is on our list.
What it costs
Two months free during the pilot, with our help to move your members over. After that, one monthly price per studio, with no fee per class.
